Are you interested in the newly announced Caregiver Program in Canada? While the full details of the program are yet to be released, it's never too early to start preparing! Here's what you can do now to improve your chances of success when the program opens on March 31, 2025.

Key Steps to Prepare for the New Caregiver Program
Even though we’re waiting for the complete program guidelines, there are two crucial steps you can take to get a head start:
1. English Language Test
A minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4 is required to apply for the Caregiver Program. Accepted tests include:
CELPIP: CELPIP-General
IELTS: IELTS General Training
PTE: PTE Core
Make sure your English test results are valid when the program opens. If you haven’t taken a test yet, now is the perfect time to schedule one!
2. Education Assessment
You must have at least the equivalent of a Canadian high school diploma to qualify for the new program. This requires an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA), which verifies the equivalency of your foreign education in Canada.

Why Start Preparing Now?
Although we’re waiting for complete details, starting early can save you time and stress. Completing your language test and education assessment now ensures you're ready to apply as soon as the program launches.
